Free Tickets to the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games

The Mayor of Tower Hamlets has launched a free prize draw for local residents, giving away free tickets to the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games.

There are just under 400 seats to give away in the Mayor’s 2012 Ticket Bonanza. The prize draw is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to give your service users a chance to see the greatest sporting event in the world.

Most will be awarded as single tickets to ensure that as many residents as possible have
the chance to see a sport, but there will be special allocations for children and disabled residents to allow an adult or carer to accompany them.

To give all residents a chance to win tickets, we are asking all of our partners to promote the prize draw through their local networks and encourage their service users to apply.

Sign up now!

The easiest and quickest way to enter the draw is by signing up to My.Towerhamlets, the council’s online news and consultation tool, and filling out an online form. Residents can sign up by visiting:

Residents can also join Idea Stores to use the internet there for free. Idea Store and library staff can also help residents sign up for free tickets if they are not able to use a computer. Alternatively, residents can request a paper application form by calling 020 7364 5012, weekdays between 9am and 5pm.

The deadline for applications is midnight on Wednesday June 6.

None of the tickets will be distributed to council members, staff or people closely connected to them.
